Search engines
Would you rather have a shop on a busy high street with lots of passing trade like the one shown opposite, or on a back street? How do you get onto the Internet "high street"? Links in directories, regular submission to search engines and how the website is designed can make a significant difference.
Example
A hotel in St Ives, Skidden House. During 1999 they were taking 25% of their bookings from the Internet, this increased to 50% in 2000 when we did their search engine listing and website design. This increased again to 75% in 2001 (they sold the hotel in early 2002 so no figures for this year). Total turnover in 1999 was £40k, this had increased to £52k in 2001 mostly due to an increase in bookings from the net. The figures speak for themselves.
